So my mom recently got an account on Facebook and suggests that I do the same. In case no one has noticed, I tend to keep to myself. I only have a few select friends and that's probably all I even need. I happen to like this little hidey-hole even though not many people visit it.

Though I suppose if I were to get an account there, I am totally not playing that farm game. Just watching brings back bad memories of Neopets.

I've noticed I haven't really done anything with Jamie's kids lately. I think there's a reason for that. Just to name a few: they interrupt me all the time, try to screw me over in Pokémon card trades, and even boss me around in my own bedroom. I don't need to put up with that!

Not feeling too great today so I spent some time in bed. I did manage to get some of the stuff I needed to do done though, so today wasn't a complete waste.

So I gave her a call while I was going for a walk. ^_^

Question: What do you do if you sent a magazine to the wrong address?
Answer: Send it again...to the wrong address?!

This is what I'm hearing from Nintendo Power anyway. How is it that they can get the address right two months and then mess up the next month?

We ended up going shopping today instead, which is just fine. I bought a couple of Arceus booster packs. Is Arceus...supposed to be...common? Both of the packs had one, but completely lacked the reverse foil card.

Also, Joey came with us and bought a couple of Yu-Gi-Oh decks. He's been wanting me to duel for some time now and it looked like I finally have. Being my first time, I didn't quite know what I was doing. But the game seems alright. Could be a good "once in awhile" thing.

I hate it when someone says we're gonna go shopping, but then we don't. I like to go out. It doesn't really matter too much if I buy something or not. It's just fun to go out and see different stuff. Especially since, you know, I'm in a different state and all.

Uncle John (one of the relatives from Albuquerque) gave me a rock with a bit of fool's gold on it that he found in New Mexico. I thought it only seemed fair that I gave him one of my rocks. He seemed a little surprised, but I assured him that I can spare it by showing him the original three from Michigan.

He immediately identified the rocks as rose quartz. After looking it up on Wikipedia, I'm willing to say that he's right. Though this does bring up a question...why didn't I ever think of that? I seems kinda obvious now. Either way, it's good that the mystery of the rocks is solved. Heh.

Very busy day, overall. Not only was there the eating of turkey and a nice brisk walk to burn some of the resulting calories, but a couple of relatives from Albuquerque of all places came over.

Frankly, it's a wonder I'm still awake...

Finally started to work on the cover art for the LAS series yesterday. The main artwork for LAS is finished. For the background, I think I'll fire up good ol' Pokémon Project Studio and snag some BGs from it. I'll probably use it for the title text as well. I started drawing the cover of LYL, but I'm not very far on that one.
